Hola! I found Before I Go to Sleep to be quite intriguing. I knew the experience would be different, with it being the first adult novel I’ve ever read. plot I was fully intrigued by the idea of teenage assassins, especially in such an organized setting that could easy be compared to a boarding school/workplace. Death, Violence, Suggestive Language: I wouldn’t recommend this for younger readers. Shadow of Wrath was extremely well written, in my opinion. L.W. Patricks puts you in the this horrid arena, where children fight to the death, repeatedly, leaving only the children willing to kill to survive alive. Just because your alive, doesn’t mean your living, as the book harshly shows. Dog may be the champion and given better housing and food but he’s still just an animal, caged and tortured…. Read more »
