Top Ten Books I’m Not Sure I Want To Read

Top Ten TuesdayTop Ten Tuesday is a meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish

I always have this problem. I often can’t decide whether or not I actually want to read a book. It’s like, it looks good, but is it really something I’ll love? Or sometimes a book will have a ton of hype, but it doesn’t really seem like something I’d like, but I get curious anyway.

This week is Top Ten Five Books I’m Not Sure I Want to Read:

Top Ten Tuesday

  • Delirium has been sitting on my kindle for about a year now. I’m just not feeling the need to read this one, but at the same time I want to.
  • Beautiful Creatures is also on my kindle, but I really don’t think it’s something I’ll like. I bought it because of the hype, but I’m not really interested in reading it.
  • The Program is on my TBR, but I’ve seen mixed reviews and I’m really on the fence about this one.
  • Six Earlier Days is the sequel (or maybe the prequel? IDK) to Every Day which I liked, but didn’t love. Not sure if I want to give it a shot.
  • Dorothy Must Die is one that I was super pysched for, but a lot of people are giving it bad reviews, so… not sure if I’m still as excited about it.

What books are in your list? Leave me a link in the comments so I can check out your Top Ten Tuesday post! 🙂

  1. This type of post is such a good idea! I always am looking at my bookshelf wondering what to read next and I will always avoid reading certain books, even though I have picked them out of the bookstore!:)

  2. I read Dorothy Must Die and it was pretty cool! Also read Delirium and, even though it felt cheesy and predictable, it was a good read. Haven’t read the sequels though. 😛 Oh, wait, also read Beautiful Creatures and it was good but I’m not fond on masculine POVs so just liked it but didn’t love it. The world-building was cool though.

    1. I might give those ones a chance in the future. As of right now, I don’t have time to read books I MIGHT like, you know? Although, Dorothy Must Die and Delirium both sound very appealing. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  3. 1. Delirium – This was a so-so read for me. The writing was actually pretty boring.
    2. Beautiful Creatures – This is one of the first YA books I read, so I did enjoy it at the time. Gothic stories are my guilty pleasures. 😉
    3. The Program – Yeah, this one is a book you’ll either love or hate. I personally loved the writing and just had so many feels.
    5. Most of my GR friends gave this positive reviews, but I pretty much thought the entire book was stupid…

There are so many books that are on my TBR but I’ve lost interest for! Maybe around 1/5 of my shelves are of books I was interested in when I bought them, but now… Not so much. xD

    1. Really? I’m still not sure which I’ll read and which ones I’ll just be done with. Thanks for your input! 🙂 I am the same way! That’s why lately I’m trying to not buy new books unless I’m ready to read them or if I am totally sure I will read it later.
